South of the Circle, a Narrative Drama About Love and Promises, Comes to Xbox

South of The CircleThis film tells the story of love, survival and hope. This story is about all the beautiful times in our lives that are worthwhile keeping and worthy of big promises. But we also deal with the big question — how power and politics affect people and how they can lead to disaster? And it couldn’t be made without one, a particular plane crash in Antarctica during the Cold War.

Because of its low-tech status, I was amazed at Antarctica’s surreal beauty, especially in the 60s. They were still hunting seals with wooden rifles, they didn’t have communication. This was an interesting time. It reminded me of the Cold War. One of my family friends was a pilot in Antarctica and survived the crash. This happened just as Peter, an academic from Cambridge. South of The CirclePrincipal character. A family friend helped establish the Antarctic Treaty. It is a peace treaty that keeps the world free from nuclear war. The tension in the game rests on it. Peter finds himself in a dangerous blizzard, and he remembers all about his life. He meets Clara, an academic friend, and has a blossoming romantic, intellectual, and sexual love affair with her that leads him to where we are now. What will it take to reconcile his feelings and an ambition career? Is he able to fulfill his commitments?

South of The Circle, we explored what happens to a person when they are taken away from all the structures they’re around in everyday life. Who are we when we‘re separated from all the political and social constructs? It was a great way to explore someone’s mind because when you’re in a setting like that what else do you have? The surreal beauty of Antarctica? Even though our friend has retired, he still finds Antarctica appealing. To explore the game’s magical pull, I had the opportunity to go on an expedition with him. All of us have an image of Antarctica’s perfect iceberg. But, when we arrived, we found out there were other things, such as sunken volcanic craters that have black ash on the sides, making it difficult for boats to get into them. Even on a gray day, when there is no color anywhere, which is interesting in itself like it’s black and white. These sounds are so inspiring that you can actually hear them from far away. A piece of ice the same size as a building fell into water and made a strange sound right in front. It was almost as if thunder was rumbling in the four corners of the bay at once. The echoing sound continued for about a minute, then suddenly it became completely quiet again.

The story of power and individuality and their impact on lives was what we wanted to tell. It has been quite a while since the 1960s. The game includes Clara’s struggle to remain an academic during that period. Her ambitions to succeed as an academic are thwarted by many of the structures she is surrounded with. She belongs to the second wave in feminist thought. But the more we worked on Peter’s and Clara’s story, the more it came apparent this was the story of the individual and the choices we make. It was all the small, emotional choices and promises that we make throughout our lives that are the most fascinating and important. We want you to feel as though you are there. We’ve worked with some of the best actors in the world including Gwilym Lee from “Bohemian Rhapsody,” Olivia Vinall from “The Woman in White,” and Anton Lesser from “Game of Thrones” to bring the characters real authenticity, and developed a way you talk to them in the game with the flow and emotion of real conversation.
