You must balance defense and offense in battles that are quick-paced. This is where souls come in and when timed attacks and timing help.

You can consume souls to increase your stamina and level up your skill. Additionally, your attack timing can be adjusted to allow you to execute counterattacks as well as a range of follow-up actions. While it might be difficult to master, the thrill of cutting through monsters with an action RPG will come in the end.

– Fast-paced, stylish combat
Every move that you make will be reacted to by enemies in Unsouled. You must be vigilant because even the smallest mistake can lead to relentless enemy attacks.

– Expert controls and timing
For maximum damage, use skill combinations and counterattacks. Use the “Abyss” system to get a closer look at the game’s unique mechanics. While it may seem tempting for players to lower the difficulty, combat is a skill that can only be learned through practice.

– Chained attacks
Unsouled each has their own set of triggers. When you are using a skill your character will flash briefly for one second. This is your chance to transform an initial strike into a series of deadly blows, by learning one skill at a time. Learning each skill’s wind-down pattern is crucial to mastering chain attacks.

– Counterattacks
Combos aren’t the only tool under your belt. When done properly, counterattacks allow you to take out multiple targets with one attack. The key to turning the tide is mastering chain-counterattacks.

– Interactive objects
You can defeat many threats by slamming your enemy into a wall or cutting down trees to make them fall.

– Passive and Active Souls
As you explore and fight, you may encounter special Souls. You can enhance your abilities, unlock new skills and upgrade already existing abilities by acquiring passive souls. The button interaction activates Active Souls manually, which unlocks skills that are normally reserved only for bosses. These souls can also be used to escape from enemies and create combos.

– Beautiful pixel art
You will find five locations that offer unique retro visuals and enemies that are both scary and funny.
Every pixel can be affected by real time lighting. This allows you to enjoy vibrant, rich pixel graphics in all their glory!
