Sniper Elite 5 Sets Sights On May Release Date

Rebellion’s latest installment in the sharp-shooting World War II series Sniper Elite 5 has now been released and is only a few months away. When it launches globally, the new installment of Karl Fairburne’s Nazi-slaying adventure will be made available to fans on May 26. Rebellion released a new trailer along with this announcement. Along with the announcement of the release date, those who preorder Sniper Elite 5 have a mission locked and loaded for the experience. A new chapter in what Rebellion calls its Target Führer campaign titled “Wolf Mountain” will be available if you buy in before release. 

A deluxe edition will also be available for the new Sniper Elite which will include the preorder bonus above as well as a season pass featuring even more gory slowmo sniping. The additional content that will be available after launch is described in a press release as “two-part campaigns on large maps. [players]An expanded arsenal of World War II-era weapons can be purchased and customized by snipers with weapon skins and character packs. These weapon skins will also be included in the season pass.

• Six weapon packs

Sniper Elite 5 follows Karl Fairburne, a fictional hero of war who aims to stop a Nazi plot known as Project Kraken which is set up to change the tides in World War II. The game will launch as mentioned previously on May 26th for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. It is also available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Xbox Game Pass members will be able to access the game as soon as possible.
