Silk Sonic Duo Bruno Mars And Anderson .Paak Join Fortnite’s Icon Series

Be sure to leave the door open on the battle bus because Silk Sonic’s Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak are joining the fray through Fortnite’s Icon Series. 

Fortnite will add the Grammy-nominated couple next Thursday at 7 pm ET. But, the Fortnite Item Shop will not have their accessories and outfits until Tuesday, February 7, when a Silk Sonic Cup takes place. Everyone will be able to access the Silk Sonic products on February 10th, but you can still knab them via the Silk Sonic Cup 3 days before. 

Fortnite’s Icon Radio, Fortnite’s new in-game radio station will let you listen to Silk Sonic tracks. You can, for example, listen to tracks by Silk Sonic and Bruno Mars while driving. The radio station will also feature Bootsy Collins as the host. 

These are the Silk Sonic items that you will see in Fortnite shortly: 

• Bruno Mars Outfit (part of Silk Sonic Set)
• Anderson.Paak dress (part of Silk Sonic set).
• Sound Scepter Pickaxe (sold with the Bruno Mars outfit – becomes Back Bling when not in use)
• Sonic Snare Back Bling sold with Anderson.Paak Outfit
• Boom Bap Pickaxe
• Freedom Wheels Emotes (do one spin, then do another)

Both the Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak outfits come with alternative styles, as well. You can also purchase the track “The Last Dance” to listen before you play it. You’re the Flylobby track You can also buy the Don’t Close the DoorsUse emote mid-match 

All of the items are available in Fortnite Item Shop, February 10th. You also have the option to earn them by participating in the Silk Sonic Cup February 7th. 

Epic Games’ blog states that you can play up to 10 matches within the three hour window for your area. You can find the “Compete” tab on-game for specific timing information. You can find the official Silk Sonic Cup Official Rules for the number of points you need to unlock your outfits or accessories. 

This is how the scoring works in the cup: 

• 25 Points for Victory Royale
• 2nd: 22 Points
• 3. Third place: 20 points
• Fourth: 18 points
• 5th: 17 Punkte
• Sixth: 16 points
• 7th: 15 points
• 8.8.14 Points
• 9th:13 Points
• 11th: 12 points
• 11th: 11 Scores
• 12th: 10 points
• 13th: 9 points
• 14th: 8 points
• 15th: 7 points
• 16th: Six Points
• 17th: 5 points
• Four Points for 18th-19th
• 2 Points – 20th-21st
• 22nd – 23rd Points
• 24th -25th: 1 Point

You will also earn one point for each elimination. You must enable two-factor authentication on Epic and be level 50 or above to participate. 

Fortnite is not yet finished. Read about the Pizza Party item which restores health, shields and then look at Green Goblin, Spider-Man’s arch nemesis. You can now unlock Dwayne Johnson’s Foundation character, starting right away.
