Rotwood Is The Newest Game From Klei Entertainment

The unveiling of Klei Entertainment’s latest game was a fun and unexpected surprise at the PC Gaming Show. Rotwood is an action multiplayer game. Early access is expected at some point but it is currently in development.

The Steam description gives us a lot more information about Rotwood that what is shown in the trailer. This is a rogue-like dungeon crawler that can be enjoyed with four players. Each run will bring your cute animal avatars through a dangerous forest where the challenge amplifies the deeper you go in. New armor and weapons can be crafted from items scavenged, and a safe haven can be built up and fortified as well.

Klei’s hand-drawn characters and their enemies look real, in true Klei fashion. Once again, the studio is pushing the boundaries of making it look like you’re controlling a cartoon character; Rotwood’s models are expressive, fluid, and bursting with personality. I can’t wait to see what Rotwood looks and plays like in action when I can eventually get my hands on it.

It stated that the trailer would be available for early access at 202. It could release anytime during the next decade. But, we should expect to enjoy it before 2030. Rotwood can be wishlisted on Steam, and it’s unknown whether Klei is planning for release on any additional platforms at this time.
