Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition Brings New Story Content And Third-Person Mode

Resident Evil Village made a surprise return during today’s Capcom Showcase. Capcom has revealed that Resident Evil Village sold more than six million copies around the world. Now, a Gold Edition will be available, featuring a variety of noteworthy additions. Shadows of Rose, a story expansion that places Rose in charge of the game’s mind-bending discovery journey, is first.

Rose is Ethan’s daughter and is currently in her teens. You see her struggle with her abilities from the beginning of play. She enters into the Megamycete’s consciousness to control her powers. That’s when the madness starts. When time and space is altered, she meets someone exactly the same as her. This is the entire story from the third-person point of view.

Capcom will add a fresh perspective to the core title, giving players the opportunity to view Ethan from a different angle and experiencing the game similar to Resident Evil 4 using over-the-shoulder aim.

Mercenaries mode continues to be expanded with more missions and characters such as Alcina Dimitrescu, Chris Redfield and Karl Heisenberg. Lady Dimitrescu measures in at nine feet.

Resident Evil Village is already available in Gold Edition. You don’t need to purchase this Gold Edition. All you have to do is get the Winter’s Expansion. Capcom plans to release the content in October.
