Relive The Events Of Alan Wake In New Alan Wake: Flashback Fortnite Experience

Remedy Entertainment is releasing Alan Wake 2 next week, on October 27, and while there’s still time to replay (or play for the first time) Alan Wake before its sequel is out, October is a stacked month, and time might not be on your side. Alan Wake Flashback is a Fortnite experience that allows you to replay the mystery and events from the original Alan Wake. 

Epic Games claims Alan Wake Flashback was based off the first Alan Wake and Remedy 2010 action-thriller. A press release states that “troubled writer Alan Wake embarks upon a desperate hunt for his wife Alice.” After her mysterious disappearance in the Pacific Northwest city of Bright Falls he finds pages from a horror novel he has written but can’t remember.

The Fortnite Alan Wake: Flashback experience is designed to help you catch up quickly on the Alan Wake series in preparation for the release of Alan Wake 2, which will be next week. Epic Games states that Alan Wake Flashback was developed in collaboration with Remedy Entertainment Spiral House and Zen Creative.

Epic Games revealed alongside today’s announcement that Alan Wake cosmetics, previously announced, will be available in the Fortnite Item Store on Friday October 26, at 8 pm. ET. The “Waking nightmare” cosmetics set includes the Alan Wake Outfit and other items. 

The Epic Game Store will give the Alan Wake Outfit and Alan’s Messenger Bag Back Bling to players who purchase Alan Wake 2 before October 27, (specifically at 11:59 pm ET). The Alan Wake Outfit as well as Alan’s messenger bag Back Bling will be available in Fortnite on October 10 for players who purchased Alan Wake 2 before the 27th of October (specifically 11:59 p.m. ET).
