Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl trailer shows Team Galactic

The PokémOn Company released a new trailer for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl on Tuesday that gives a deeper look at Team Galactic, two more gym leaders, and the region’s legendary Pokémon. The game also revealed a special outfit that Manaphy eggs fans could redeem for if they purchased the game in time.

Brilliant Diamond And Pokémon Shining Pearl are remakes of the 2006 Nintendo DS games, are developed by The Pokémon Company and ILCA. While the developers have already revealed a lot about the game, including more information on niche features like beauty contests and the Underground — this trailer is focused mainly on characters.

The new trailer shows the leaders of Team Galactic — the baddies of the original Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Cyrus will be the boss of Team Galactic, along with Mars, Jupiter and Saturn, who are all returning as trainers. Also, we saw the new Candice (the ice-type Snowpoint City gym leader) and Volkner, an electrical-type Sunyshore gym leader.

At the end of the trailer, developers announced a bonus for early adopters of the game as well: Players will be able to get a “Platinum Style Outfit” that dresses your characters a tasteful color pallet of pinks And ice-blues as well as an egg for the seafaring Pokémon, Manaphy, so long as players redeem them by Feb. 21.
