Ooblets Has Gone Gold – Game Informer
Ooblets is a long-in-development title for indie developers that mixes monster collecting with farming. It has now gone Gold. This means that the game is now certified for release and its 1.0 launch date is near.
Developer Glumberland shared the news on Twitter, stating that they’ll announce the release date of the game’s full launch in the near future. Pre-orders for the recently announced Switch version will begin soon as well.
We just found out that Ooblets has gone 🌟GOLD🌟!!
We have successfully passed the main certifications, so that we can announce our 1.0 release and allow preorders for Switch very soon⏱️

Ooblets first appeared in 2016, and is available in PC Early Access and Xbox Game Preview starting in 2020. You will be responsible for planting Ooblets and fighting other Ooblets during dance battles. Side quests can be completed by Badge Town residents, as well as decorating and expanding your farm. Over the years Ooblets received many content updates, including new animals, decorations, locales, and seasons. Glumberland said in May that the game would be 1.0 by summer. This news appears to confirm this release window.
Ooblets is a game we have enjoyed every time that we checked it out over the years. So it’s thrilling to see it near the finish line. Ooblets will be available for Xbox One and Switch via The Epic Games Store.
