One Piece will go on one month break ahead of its final saga

The creator of the manga, Eiichiro Oda One PieceHe announced his intention to be taking a month-long break following the conclusion of the recent arc, in order to prepare for the series’ 25th anniversary. From June 27 to July 25, the Weekly Shonen Jump will publish a hiatus for the manga. After the pause, the manga will return with one “final saga,” according to a popular fan translation Twitter account.

One PieceIt is the most loved and longest-running shonen series. Shueisha published its first chapter in 1997. Over 1,000 chapters have been published since the first weekly serialized story was started. This break is the biggest in manga history since Oda. four weeks off during the time-skipHe was a part of the story and then helmed it in a new direction.

Fans are debatingIt is unclear if the announcement signifies that the story has only one remaining arc or whether it means that the story will be completed soon. Regardless, we’ve known for a while that Luffy’s story was finally coming to an end; in 2020, Oda said One PieceIt would be over in five years.

One Piece The series has been adapt to anime. Netflix also announced that the series will be adapted to live action in 2020. On Tuesday, Netflix showed more details on how production is progressing, including a look at some of the extravagant boats we’ll come to see in the new series.
