Omega Rugal Coming To Terrorize A New Generation In Free King Of Fighter XV DLC

King of Fighters has a reputation for oppressive bosses and low-level bosses. These bosses prey on gamers at the end of arcade modes. SNK will be bringing back the King of Fighters, one of the most famous boss characters from the series.

As a DLC, Omega Rugal will return to The King of Fighters XV starting April 14. You can check out the trailer below which debuted as part of the Japan Fighting Game Publishers Roundtable that took place late last night. Rugal is swift and brutal, but he won’t be afraid to let undefended characters hang on for as long as they need. 

Boss Challenge is a new mode which tests players’ skills against a more powerful version of Rugal. In it, Omega Rugal dons a fancy new jacket with armored shoulder pads and gauntlets which can be used by any player strong enough to take down this retro threat.

The King of Fighters XV will release DLC in a couple of weeks. You can “vanquish” the nightmare on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. You can now download the full game, as well as the new pack of Team Garou characters.
