No Man’s Sky: Endurance Update Available Today
This is the sixth month of 2008. No Man’s SkyS gamers have received two free major updates, Sentinels and Outlaws, and a huge but deadly expedition, called Leviathan.|S, and Game Pass have already enjoyed two major free updates (Sentinels and Outlaws) and a large but brutal expedition (Leviathan). Our fourth anniversary is approaching and we’re proud to present our third free update for the year. Endurance is now available and free for all Xbox Game Pass and Xbox One users.
Freighters are the backbone of No Man’s SkyThese are large, impressive vessels that have served as a support for their captains on long-term missions across the stars. Endurance, as the name implies, is an ode to incredible voyages and striking ships. This is your chance to showcase these magnificent craft.
You will now be able build complex freighter bases that rival those on planets. These ships can also sail across the stars for the first time. We have cranked up the customization of these capital ships to the max, and we’re looking forward to seeing the same base-building creativity in space as we see planet-side.
Your floating base can be designed and built with shops, plantsers, extractors and scanner rooms. You will then need to fill them with people who can move around the room, using glass corridors which offer amazing starlit views as they do their jobs.
You don’t have to limit your bridges or corridors to the ship’s interior. A walkway on a freighter’s exterior provides an amazing vantage point to view the planets, stars and all-new asteroid fields. You can even use photo-mode!
And you’ve not experienced a warp-field until you’ve seen one from the bridge of a freighter!
It’s always a delight to see Xbox or GamePass users pouring into No Man’s SkyWe are experiencing longer play time with each content update because of the high number of updates. With Endurance, we’re excited to see our Xbox travelers, old and new, assemble in droves again.
