Nintendo Direct Announced For Tomorrow With 40 Minutes Of Games Coming This Winter

Nintendo Directs in September are some of their most popular. In 2023, the company plans to continue this streak as it announced that Nintendo Direct would air tomorrow on September 14.

Today, the company announced this via Twitter. The direct will be running for “approximately” 40 minutes starting at 7 am PT/10 am ET. ET is September 14.

What to expect from this Direct is a mystery. Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Nintendo’s big release for the upcoming year, received its own direct just last month. It was the same Nintendo Direct that revealed a Mario Red OLED Switch.

Detective Pikachu Returned is another Switch-exclusive that’s releasing in the next few months. We’re likely to see more during this Direct. You can find our thoughts on it here. We played the game last week. Switch is getting plenty more in 2023. However, there are few exclusives. Nintendo September Directs are usually a sneak peek at what’s coming up in the following year. We’re looking forward to learning more about Nintendo’s plans for 2024. We’ll learn more in the first months of 2024, since “this year” is a part of next year.

Nintendo demoed its successor, the Switch, to developers last month at Gamescom. Other reports claim that this portable console, like the Switch, will release during the second half 2024. We may learn something about it in this Direct. It’s only a matter of time before we know.

This Nintendo Direct airs at 7am PT/10am ET. The Nintendo Direct will last approximately 40 minutes.
