Nintendo Direct Announced For Tomorrow With 40 Minutes About Games Coming This Winter

Nintendo Directs in September are some of their most popular. The company has confirmed that a Nintendo Direct is scheduled to air on September 14, 2023.

This was revealed on Twitter by the company today. It stated that it will air for “roughly forty” minutes, at 7am PT/10am ET. ET is September 14. 

There are many unknowns surrounding this Direct. Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Nintendo’s big release for the upcoming year, received its own direct just last month. This is the same Direct where Nintendo announced a Mario Red OLED Switch. 

Detective Pikachu Returned is yet another Switch exclusive that’s releasing in the next few months. We’re likely to see more during this Direct. You can find our thoughts on it here. We played the game last week. Switch will also get plenty of new content in 2023’s last months, although exclusives may be scarce. Nintendo September Directs are known to give players an insight into what’s coming up in the year ahead, and we expect that this time around. Since “this winter”, which is the current year, dips into 2024’s first months, we should learn more.

Nintendo is said to have demoed a successor console for developers during Gamescom in Germany last month. According to other sources, this portable new console would be released by the end of 2024. We may learn something about it in this Direct. It’s only a matter of time before we know. 

This Nintendo Direct airs at 7am PT/10am ET. This Nintendo Direct is scheduled to run approximately 40 minutes.
