NHL 22 Partners with IIHF

EA Sports are pleased to announce their long-awaited partnership with International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). The new partnership between our brands will bring top international teams to EA Sports. NHL 22This includes a restricted-time content release for Ultimate Team or World of Chel up to January 10, 2022.

Beginning on December 9, IIHF World Juniors and Men’s teams will be available in NHL 22. Play Now mode lets you play with friends and challenge them to a match against your favourite international teams. In Ultimate Team and World of Chel, you will find logos of the IIHF federations and uniforms. Women’s IIHF teams will also be added to Play Now mode in January 2022, so keep an eye out for those!

Top international tournaments with authentic branding and structures, including the World Juniors and Men’s World Championships. The Women’s World Championships will also be available when the teams are added in January.

The IIHF Update also includes roster sharing and transfer of HUT teams. You can now upload your own rosters to share with players all over the globe. You can modify player ratings and lineups to make your ideal roster.
