New Monster Hunter mobile game coming from Pokémon Unite’s studio

Pokémon UniteCapcom and developer Timi Studio Group have teamed up to develop a Monster Hunter mobile game. We don’t have a lot of details on the game just yet, but according to the developers it will “reproduce the hunting actions that define the Monster Hunter series” but still offer mobile players a “unique” experience, a news release said.

Capcom’s first collaboration with Capcom on the title is the creation of the new title. Timi Studio Group, a Tencent Games subsidiary is best known for its creations. Pokémon UniteOnline multiplayer online game, adapted from the MOBA format to the well-known monster-catching franchise. According to the announcement, developers aim to develop a game that caters to both seasoned Monster Hunters (and newbies) alike.

This won’t be the first time Capcom has attempted to make a more approachable Monster Hunter game. Capcom has released Monster Hunter Stories, The Nintendo 3DS was launched in North America in 2017 This version offered a more friendly and cartoony take on the franchise. Capcom most recently published Monster Hunter Rise: SunbreakNintendo Switch and Windows PC. The latest mainline series release was expanded.
