New Lies Of P’s Update Includes Various Changes To Make The Game Easier

There is a new Lies of P version available on PlayStation and Steam. This update includes some changes that should help make the game more accessible. Publisher Neowiz has confirmed that the Xbox update will not be available until Microsoft tests it. 

Lies Of P launched on PlayStation, Xbox and PC in the first week of this month. It’s one of our favorite games of the year – read about why in Game Informer Lies of P review here – but it’s a tough soulslike that kicked our butts more than once. Update 1.2.0.0 today should make it easier for everyone. If you haven’t played the game in a while, this is a great time to get back into saving Krat. 

Update 1.2.0.0 of Lies Of P has been released. 

Balance Changes 

• The HP of some field monsters has been reduced
• Staggering and breaking the stance of some monsters is more likely.
• Field monsters now have a longer staggerable time window
• Reduce the HP of Dimensional Butterflies

Adjusting the reward for some monsters

• Moonstones are now dropping more frequently.
• Star Fragments are dropping at a lower rate.
• Ergo drops are now more frequent
• “Ergo Rewards for certain Monsters after Lorenzini Arcade have been increased”

The Boss monster Balance changes

• The HP value of “Fallen Archbishop Andreus” has been reduced
• Reduced HP in the King of Puppets phase
• Reduced HP for ‘Simon Manus Arm of God
• The damage caused by ‘Simon Manus Awakened God,’ has been reduced
• The chance to change the position of “Simon Manus: Awakened God” is increased.
• Increased the Specter’s damage and HP

Changes in the System Related to Character Progress Reset

• At the Gold Coin Tree, you can now reset your character’s P-Organ level and Legion Arms.
• Gold Coin Fruits for Characters Created after the patch are now 8 instead of 5.
• The amount of coins required to reset the level, the P-Organ and the Legion Arms is adjusted.

Additions to the Changes

• The players will be able carry more for every point they spend on capacity
• Amulets are now available in a reduced weight with Boss Ergo
• The players will be better able to perform attacks when using fable art that takes up three slots or more. Included are Fable Arts which stack.
• The monster will no longer be able to stance when you successfully perform the Fable Art Guard Parry.

This update also fixes a couple of bugs: 

• Fixes a bug where the Legion Arm “Pandemonium II” – Acid Charge would not work properly.
• The Legion Arm ‘Pandemonium’ now consumes only Legion gauge when using Grindstones
• Bug fixed that caused Geppetto’s facial expression to flicker during the cutscene following the defeat of the “Nameless Puppet” with the Graphic Quality Presets-Low
• Fixing a typographical error in the credits. This was not a falsehood. We sincerely apologized to Mr. Collodi.
