New Daredevil series is coming to Disney Plus
Daredevil might soon receive his official (and expensive) entrance into Marvel Cinematic Universe. Variety reports that a new Daredevil series will soon be available on Disney Plus. Variety reported this Thursday.
Variety has reported that Chris Ord, Matt Corman, and Chris Ord have agreed to co-write and executive produce the new series that will be streamed exclusively on Disney Plus. Corman and Ord have worked together for several years, co-creating shows like USA’s Covert AffairsExecutive producing series such asThe Enemy WithinPlease see the following: The Brave.
This would be confirmation of long-standing rumors about a Disney Plus show. The new MCU structure fits perfectly with this hiring, which could suggest something very close to a relaunch or reboot of the Netflix series. Charlie Cox, who played Daredevil in Netflix’s Marvel universe, showed up as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man, There’s No Way Home just last year, and Vincent D’Onofrio reprised his Netflix role as Kingpin in the Disney Plus series Hawkeye.
There’s no suggestion of when the series might air or when we could find out more about the plot, but there is a possibility close on the horizon. Marvel released the trailer for Disney Plus’ new series on Tuesday. She-Hulk: Attorney At LawThe movie stars Tatiana Maslany playing Jennifer Walters as a super-skilled litigator. Every day She-Hulk might spend in the court room could serve as the perfect excuse to bring back Matt Murdock, the MCU’s other super-lawyer.
