Netflix’s new Bird Box movie is heading to Barcelona this summer

Alliteration and post-apocalyptic thrillers are sure to please fans of both. Bird Box BarcelonaNetflix will premiere a new spinoff film of 2018’s starring Sandra Bullock on Thursday, July 14. Netflix released its first teaser on Tuesday. It shows a number of terrified people running with blindfolds and jumping from high buildings.

Basically, it’s like M. Night Shyamalan’s The Happening meets Death Stranding.

This makes sense given that other Netflix purchases like Money HeistNetflix is likely to continue using the same method of creating localized versions of popular titles, in an effort to capitalise on Bird Box’s initial success.
