Netflix Reveals Tekken: Bloodline Anime, First Teaser Trailer Released

Netflix has revealed its next video game adaptation and it’s based on the popular Bandai Namco fighting series, Tekken. 

Titled Tekken: BloodlineNetflix released a trailer for this anime that was almost 2 minutes long. The trailer shows Jin Kazama learning Kazama-Style Traditional Martial Arts fighting style. Tekken: Bloodline is set to premiere sometime this year, but there’s no release date to be found in the teaser. There’s also no word on its length or how many episodes it will have.

Here’s Netflix’s description of the series:

“Power is everything. Jin Kazama received his family’s self-defense skills, Kazama Style Traditional Martial Arts from his mother when he was a youngster. He was unable to stop a terrible evil from appearing, which destroyed everything he loved and changed his entire life. Jin became angry with himself for not being able to stop the monstrous evil. He sought out absolute power to get it. His quest will lead to the ultimate battle on a global stage – The King of Iron Fist Tournament.” 

Tekken: BloodlineThis joins an array of future video game animation series adaptations, many of them being developed by Netflix. The streaming service isn’t just focused on anime and animated series adaptations, though. The streaming service released three new posters and details last week. Resident Evil series. These, regardless of whether or not they are included. Tekken: Bloodline, pan out to be great remains to be seen, but if Netflix’s Arcane is any indication, we’re in for a treat.
