Mortal Kombat 1 Gameplay Will Premiere During Summer Game Fest

Mortal Kombat 1’s incredible cinematic debut trailer ignited the collective excitement of a fanbase chomping at the bit to see it in action. It looks like the fans will only need to wait for a few more weeks. 

Ed Boon, the head of NetherRealm Studios and host Geoff Keighley have confirmed Mortal Kombat 1 will be featured in Summer Game Fest. Livestreaming of the annual summer live showcase featuring new video games trailers, world premieres and more will begin at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday June 8th. ET.

Mortal Kombat 1 marks the beginning of a new timeline that follows the events in Mortal Kombat 11 NetherRealm Studios describes the Kameo Fighters as a feature that allows players to have a team of partners who will assist them during a match. It’s feels all but confirmed that we’ll see this mechanic in action at SGF alongside the game’s other bells and whistles ahead of its September 19 launch.
