Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak free update and stuffed monster weapon DLC revealed

New update Monster Hunter Rise: SunbreakNew quests, monsters, challenges, and more are coming to the Nintendo Switch. It will also usher in a new innovation: the “Stuffed Monster Series” of weapons that transforms the monster-slaying game’s swords, shields, lances, hammers, and horns into cute stuffed animals.

While much of Capcom’s new update for Monster Hunter Rise is free, the cuddly weapons are not — they’re paid DLC. These new weapons are worth a look, especially if your monster hunting is sloppy. (Make sure you have the sound on so you can hear the weapons’ delightful squeaker noises.)

Other titles available in the free title upgrade 3 Monster Hunter Rise: SunbreakThree new dangers will be presented to players in Elgado Outpost’s surrounding area: Risen Teostra and Chaotic Gore Magala. Chaotic Gore magala will attack Hunters with a rank of MR10 and above. Capcom advises players to help them escape their pain, because their poor growth can cause them extreme agony. Hunters who are rank MR120 or above will be able to face Risen Kushala Daora — MR140 for Risen Teostra — but toppling both creatures will reward players with materials for crafting weapons and armor with new skills.

A7-star Anomaly Quests with Flaming Espinas and Scorned Magnamalo will also be included in Title Update 3. We take a look at all the rewards and quests that are coming your way. Monster Hunter Rise: SunbreakYou can see it in the video.
