Microsoft Flight Simulator adding helicopters and gliders this November

One-day update 01 celebrating Gamescom, adding five photogrammetry versions to the game. You can fly around photorealistic renditions of Cologne, Dortmund, Dusseldorf and Bronn. Microsoft revealed that the Koelnmesse Exhibition Center in Cologne will soon be visible to fans. It houses Gamescom every year.

As for the 40th Anniversary Edition, the biggest feature is the new vehicle types — helicopters and gliders — which return to the franchise for the first time since 2006. But the update is more than just “hover simulator,” and will also add some highly-requested planes to the game. One of the most notable additions to the game is the Airbus A-310 airliner. Each cockpit button will also have a function.

New historical aircrafts and airfields will be added to the 40th Anniversary Edition, as well as remastered missions from previous flight simulator games. Here’s the complete breakdown of new items coming to the game this November:
