Microsoft Flight Simulator adding helicopters and gliders this November

The City Update 01 celebrations Gamescom with the addition of photogrammetry versions for five German cities. Now players can experience photorealistic renderings of Cologne (Hanover), Dortmund, Dusseldorf or Bronn. Microsoft revealed that the Koelnmesse Exhibition Center in Cologne will soon be visible to fans. It houses Gamescom every year.
As for the 40th Anniversary Edition, the biggest feature is the new vehicle types — helicopters and gliders — which return to the franchise for the first time since 2006. But the update is more than just “hover simulator,” and will also add some highly-requested planes to the game. Most notable is the Airbus A-310 airliner, which will arrive on November 11. Each cockpit button will also have a function.
In addition to new historic planes, airfields, or remastered missions, the 40th anniversary edition will include historical flight simulators. Here’s the complete breakdown of new items coming to the game this November:

- 12 new aircraft
