Metal: Hellsinger This is what happens when metal albums come to life. However, in mortal life, this may be called the rhythm FPS. It is where you can slay to the beat to take out the devil.

Music is at the heart of everything. Metal: Hellsinger. As you perform actions on the beat — shooting, performing takedowns, dashing — the music responds to your success, unfolding until the vocals kick in for the full headbanging experience. With an incredible roster of celebrated metal vocalists and two talented composers, it’s a game designed to make you groove.

Today is our first big content update. Metal: HellsingerThe artbook is also available through the in-game menu. The game can also be downloaded on Xbox One!

This update introduces an updated highest difficulty, an elite Seraph demon, secret collectibles for weapon skins and a combo mechanic. There are also a lot of bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. We’d like to give you an overview of the new features and share some of the thoughts behind some of them.

The Eye of the Archdevil

Archdevil is the new highest difficulty after Lamb, Goat, and Beast, and it’s the meanest mosh pit you’ve ever been in. That means more demons, stronger demons, angrier demons, elite Seraph demons. No last stand is possible if you lose in battle. Before you start, we recommend warming up with windmills.

Archdevil is a brand new game that we created after seeing how talented our players were. All you have to do in order to unlock Archdevil is defeat The Devil, also known as the Red Judge. We like that you have a loquacious skull to your side, but we don’t doubt your chances.

This skull has been given a complete overhaul in new skins. If you want to heartily apply them to some demon filth however, you’ll first have to find the coats of arms that we’ve hidden in the maps.

There’s one coat of arms on each level, across each difficulty, including Archdevil. As you collect them and reach certain thresholds you’ll unlock the new skins, which you can equip in the loadout screen.

Combos Kill

Since Metal: Hellsinger launched, we’ve witnessed players approach the art of ripping through demons in a myriad of unique ways, and this was something we wanted to award.

Combinations allow players to be rewarded for performing specific actions in consecutive beats. For example, if you blow an enemy to bits three beats in a row, that’s a Kill Trio. If you destroy a Chaos Crystal then slaughter an enemy, that’s called, well, Chaos and Slaughter.

You can fight fire, water, ice, and metal with madness
Although often called Hell, The Infernal Planes are actually made up of many Hells. All of them are frightening and deabolical. To dethrone the Red Judge you will need to fight your way across the most dangerous corners. This includes the cold world of Voke and the maddening realm of Stygia.
