Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Out This September, Venom Voice Actor Reveals

The news about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has been quiet since its unveiling in 2021. It is the eagerly awaited sequel to Insomniac Games Marvel Spider-Man. However, PlayStation revealed that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 would arrive sometime in the Fall back in December.

Tony Todd, who voices Venom and can be heard in the trailer’s reveal trailer briefly, said Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 would release in September. Todd surprisingly spoke out in response to an excited fan about the game.

Looks just like September. Huge media attention is coming to August. Commercials start dropping in august so I’m told. And hold on tight! “It’s going be important”

It sure seems like Todd was not supposed to disclose that information, doesn’t it? However, despite what some might believe, Todd’s tweet remains up as of the writing. This means that Insomniac Games haven’t forced him to take it down.

After people realized that Todd could have revealed the release date for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, he tweeted this:

It’s worth noting that Todd’s claim of the September release date doesn’t necessarily mean it is. We must be careful about a official release date and release month, until Insomniac Games confirms it. The September window is consistent with what was previously disclosed for Fall.

This big PlayStation launch would be released in September, which puts it up against Xbox’s Starfield launch (September 6), so Fall could prove busy.
