Marvel’s Midnight Suns, the upcoming card-based strategy RPG by Firaxis, as been hit with its second delay. According to Take-Two’s earnings report, the game was moved from its Oct 7 release date to a unspecified release in the 2023 fiscal year. It will arrive before March 31, this means.

The game’s Twitter account confirmed the delay with a message, embedded below, that also revealed that the game will now have a staggered release. Midnight Suns will come to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC first within the fiscal year. After that, the Switch and PS4 versions will arrive.

Midnight Suns may only experience a 5-month delay and will technically arrive in 2022. However, it is still disappointing to see the game suffer another delay. The game was first announced almost a year ago at last year’s Gamescom. The game graced the Gamescom last year. Game Informer’s cover that month and was first scheduled to launch this March before being delayed to October. This comic reimagines the Rise of the Midnight Sons event. Players control a team of occult hero Blade, Magic, Nico Minoru, and Avengers such as Iron Man, Captain America and Spider-Man in order to defeat Lilith, the mother of all the demons. Midnight Suns uses a turn-based combat system that allows players to select commands using a card system. Players can also explore the headquarters and socialize with other teammates between battles.
