Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy Patch Adds Ray-Tracing, Other Improvements Across Multiple Platforms
Eidos Montreal dropped an update for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy today that makes the space-faring comic book adventure look and run even better.
The game features ray-tracing on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. The Video Settings menu can be used to activate this feature.
Xbox Series S players can choose to set the framerate so that it runs between 30-60 frames per second. Eidos recommends this feature to those with a VRR (variable refresh rate display) and warns users that certain framerates might be unreliable in particular areas.
For base PlayStation 4 gamers, an improvement in overall performance is possible. Eidos also adjusted the sensitivity of the visor in order to detect inputs from more old controllers.
All versions of the game will also benefit from the patch:
- Save Rollback: To allow those who are facing blocking issues, to be able to rollback the chapters they have chosen to begin again.
- Stability improvement across all platforms
- Ray Tracing has multiple stabilization improvements
- Improvements to the objective markers
- Other improvements made to global boundaries
PC users can anticipate the patch on Friday, November 19th. Eidos has squashed a number of bugs as well, which can be viewed on the Reddit page.
