Two new, vivacious characters will join the game’s DLC Tuesday: Birdo Jr. and Bowser Jr. All current players will receive the DLC at no cost. Battle League You can download the full version for free.

Nintendo has released a trailer for the new competitions on Monday. Birdo is confidently taking on the role of team captain after serving as Yoshi’s pink companion for so long. Her animation shows her moving from the centre field to her side. With a slightly sultry dinosaur look, she turns her back to us and walks off.

Mario Strikers: Battle LeagueThis is the latest installment in the Mario Soccer franchise. Nintendo launched the base game in June 2013 and released two additional DLC updates. In a tweet announcing Birdo and Bowser Jr., a tweet from the official Nintendo account described this DLC as the “final free update.”
