Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Final Booster Course Pass Includes New Tracks, Racers, A Music Player, And More

Nintendo announced that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 6 will be available next week, on November 9, as the last wave of DLC. The DLC includes eight courses including Mario Kart Wii Rainbow Road and three new racers. It also has a music player, new racers as well as other features. It is the last wave of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC, and it doubles the number of courses available. 

Nintendo released an overview video for the course that can be viewed below. 

Wave 6 introduces two new cups, the Acorn Cup & Spiny Cup. Together they add eight additional courses to the rotating course list. The courses are from Mario Kart titles from SNES, GameCube and Nintendo 3DS as well as the mobile exclusive Mario Kart Tour. You can expect to see the following in each game: 

Acorn Cup

• Rome Avanti (from Mario Kart Tour)
• DK Mountain is a Mario Kart Double Dash game.
• Daisy Circuit (from Mario Kart Wii).
• Pirahna Plant Cove (The new way to buy?)

Spiny Cup

• Madrid Drive (from Mario Kart Tour).
• Rosalina Ice World (from Mario Kart7)
• Bowser Castle (from Super Mario Kart).
• Rainbow Road, from Mario Kart Wii 

Wave 6 also includes Funky Kong from Mario Kart Wii and Pauline and Peachette, both of whom are Mario Kart Tour racers. Wave 6 will also include 16 Mii Racing Suits with an additional Daisy Racing Suit that can be unlocked by scanning any Daisy Amiibo. This final DLC also adds to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe a Music Player, which lets you listen to the music of each track starting on November 9. 

The Booster Course Pass Wave 6 for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the last wave of DLC. The game will be available on 9 November. You can purchase the entire Booster Pass for just $24.99 or become a Nintendo Switch Online+ Expansion Pack Subscriber.
