March Xbox Update: Pin to Quick Resume, Controller and Audio updates, and More

We are excited to bring new ways for Xbox to be better. With you in the centre, we will refine and release new features based upon your feedback. This month’s update includes the ability to pin up to two games in Quick Resume, options to remap the Share button on Xbox Wireless Controllers, and a new audio setup wizard.

Pin to Quick Resume 

The technical abilities of Xbox Series X|S. You can seamlessly change between games, and even resume your gameplay right from the place you were. S consoles.|S consoles. Only pinned games that have been manually removed or updated will be deleted from Quick Resume.

If you are able to see the Quick Resume group you will be able to select a particular game and press the Menü Click the button and select Pin to Quick Resume. If you already have two games pinned, you’ll be asked which pin you want to replace.

Xbox Wireless Controller – Share Button Remapping 

By tapping the Xbox Wireless Controller’s Share button, you can snap a photo or take a short video by simply holding down on it for a few seconds.

You can now map the Xbox Wireless Controller share button to your liking and give it a variety of actions. New button mapping actions are available in the updated Xbox Accessories App. These actions include remapping of Xbox Accessories buttons for actions such as mute TV or open friends list. It is possible to define your controller actions, making it easier to allow assistive technologies to gamers with disabilities. There are new actions for the Elite Series 2 Controllers, Xbox Adaptive Controllers, as well as other devices. Xbox Device Firmware updates

On your Xbox console, or Windows PC, you can download and install the most recent Xbox controller device firmware. The update contains fixes and improvements that improve the performance of Xbox One controllers, including Bluetooth support and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2.

New Audio Setup Wizard

A new wizard that guides you through the setup of your HDMI devices is now available. Allgemein > Volume & audio output > Audio setup.
