Like A Dragon: Ishin Coming From Yakuza Developer Next Year

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the team behind the beloved Yakuza franchise, has announced Like a Dragon: Ishin. Although this spin-off was released first on PlayStation 4 in 2014 and PlayStation 3, it has never been available for purchase in the West. The game is now called Like A Dragon: Ishin and will be available in Western countries next year.

This game is set in Japan’s Late Edo Period (1860s). After finishing his sword training, Sakamoto Ryōma returns home to Tosa, only to get into a scuffle with Jōshi, a prestigious and highly ranked samurai. This Yakuza-inspired game allows players to change Japan’s past.

Ishin will launch in February 2023 on PlayStation 5 & PlayStation 4.
