Lego revealed all details about the Optimus Prime Lego Set yesterday, following yesterday’s announcement that a set of Lego sets was under development. It is expected to launch this June. This set, which includes 1,508 pieces and costs $169.99, is inspired by Optimus Prime’s G1 cartoon roots. The robot-like details of Optimus are superb, and even more amazing is the fact that this set can be transformed into a vehicle by using 19 points or articulation.

Optimus can have his chest open to access the Matrix of Leadership. You can also build him accessories, such as his blaster and an energoncube.
