Dying Light 2 Stay Human’s story DLC delayed to September
Techland has been delayed Dying Light 2 Keep Human’s upcoming story add-on until September, the developer announced Thursday. The original release was scheduled for early summer.
Dying Light 2 was released in February, and praised as a solid “7/10 game” with great parkour. Techland issued a massive patch in April. It included improvements for both single-player multiplayer mode and a New Game+ option. The game will also feature an upcoming event, “In the Footsteps of a Nightrunner,” scheduled for June, with a photo mode expected soon, too. The first major story DLC is still to come.
Techland issued a statement via news release to address its fans:
Our top priority has been your feedback. That’s why, at Techland, we strive to be as open and as honest with you as possible.
We have been working hard to improve co-op and add some popular features over the past few months. On top of that, in June, we will introduce the first game Chapter entitled “In the Footsteps of a Nightrunner,” filled with content and events, as well as the highly anticipated photo mode.
However, the initial story DLC is still in development and will be available for download by September.
We are sorry for this delay. However, we strongly believe that gamers, community members, and fans deserve truly memorable experiences.
The first major story DLC should meet all your expectations. We will give it the highest polish. We appreciate your support and trust.
