Knock at the Cabin trailer: M. Night Shyamalan brings on the apocalypse

M. Night Shyamalan’s latest The twist adventure, The Cabin is Knock, is all about a family vacation gone wrong — not completely dissimilar from his latest horror flick, An Old Version. But The Cabin is Knock’s family isn’t being tortured by the sands of time made manifest. Shyamalan is not the only villain: Dave Bautista wearing a button-down, tucked in. It will hit theaters February 3, 2023.

The trailer The Cabin is KnockTwo fathers bring their daughter with them to a cabin deep in the woods. After some lakeside shenanigans, the trio is set-upon by a group of four mysterious characters, led by Bautista’s mild-mannered Leonard. After knocking on the door of the family’s cabin — while armed to the teeth — Bautista’s crew reveals that the family must make an “unthinkable choice,” lest they unleash the apocalypse upon us all.

In addition to the WWE-Superstar-turned-actor, the film stars Jonathan Groff (Hamilton, The MatrixResurrections), Rupert Grint (Harry Potter), Ben Aldridge (Pennyworth, Fleabag), Nikki Amuka-Bird (Persuasion, An Old VersionAbby Quinn (Little Women, LandlineKristen Cui (newcomer)

Shyamalan and Steve Desmond wrote the screenplay. Michael Sherman also contributed to it. It is an adaptation from the book. The Cabin at the End of the WorldBy Paul Tremblay. Shyamalan also produces The Cabin is KnockMarc Bienstock, Ashwin Rajan, and others were his former producers.
