Klonoa remasters coming to Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox

Bandai Namco has re-released two Klonoa side scrollers.Klonoa: The Door to PhantomileAnd Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil(available on all modern platforms. The collection was called Klonoa Phantasy Reverie SeriesOn July 8,, will be available on Nintendo Switch. It will also come to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X — a trailer for Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series says those other versions are “coming soon.”

Klonoa Phantasy Reverie SeriesBandai Namco stated in a release that the new editions will include remastered versions. The game has been enhanced with new graphics and adjustable difficulty settings. There is also a two-player cooperative mode.

Klonoa: The Door to Phantomile was originally released on the PlayStation in 1997, making this year Klonoa’s 25th birthday. Later, the game was remastered for Wii by Klonoa under the title Klonoa. Direct sequel: Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s VeilIn 2001, a new game called ‘The Game of Life’ was made available for PlayStation 2. These games offered simple, but profound 2.5D side-scrolling gameplay in 3D environments.
