Kena: Bridge of Spirits Has Already Recouped Its Development Costs

Kena: Bridge of Spirits released its first version in September to positive reviews, including a 9 out of 10, from us. It has also performed well in terms of sales. Ember Labs claims that the game is already profitable even after it was developed.

An interview with Bloomberg, Ember Lab heads Josh and Mike Grier discussed Kena’s road from development to release. Surprised, the game seems to have sold well. While they won’t reveal exact sales figures, they do say that it has recouped all of its development expenses. Although it is not clear how much Kena contributed to the game, this is excellent news for the tiny studio.

Josh said in an article that “It’s difficult to determine what’s huge success.” “Sony’s happy.”

Kena: Bridge of Spirits, an action-adventure game for third-person, stars Kena as a spirit guide who helps small creatures called the Rot purify land affected by supernatural blight. While melee and ranged combat are the main modes of action, you will help other souls along the journey to get them safely to the afterlife. This game is linear in scope and design. It’s also quite beautiful. Ember Labs was originally an animation studio. Kena can be purchased on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 via Epic Games Store.
