Jujutsu Kaisen 0 trailer shows off movie prequel’s cast, theme song

It’s time to return to the world of demons and curses with the latest trailer for Jujutsu Kaisen1. The prequel film to the popular anime series. The movie’s latest trailer, which was released on Thursday, shows off some of its main characters and gives a preview of the new theme song.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0This manga takes place prior to the events in the manga’s original. It features a Yuta as the main character. Yuta’s childhood best friend Rika is killed in a car accident and her cursed spirit haunts him wherever he goes. Once he arrives at the Jujutsu Academy fan favorites like Gojo will help him learn why and what to do about it. This trailer shows viewers Suguru Geto the antagonist of the Prequel Movie.

Near the end of the trailer, MAPPA Studio gives fans a brief preview of the movie’s opening theme song, “Itto” by King Gnu, as well. The song fits right in with the series’ other music and is great for underscoring all of the cursed action that happens throughout the second half of the trailer.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0The movie will be released in Japan in theatres on December 24. While the movie doesn’t have an official release date in the rest of the world just yet, it’s likely to follow the pattern of other anime feature releases and come out sometime in 2022.
