You might be thinking, “This is a weird game for Xbox PC Game Pass to be promoting…” and you’d be right. However, it’s also a masterpiece and the best game ever made (don’t fight me on that), so I thought I’d give you a run down on what the series is all about.

The Complete Mystery of Frog Detective has you playing as the world’s second best investigator. You will need to question suspects, search for clues, and use the magnifying glasses (which you may not be able to use) in solving three exciting mysteries. Frog Detective is sent to an island where a ghostly presence has plagued it. This first mystery will be a bit small. Do you think there is a supernatural presence or are there other sinister forces? It’s possible that there isn’t anything sinister. Feel the joy that comes with being silly Frog Detective into a modern indie classic.

Frog Detective doesn’t have time to rest after completing the case. It’s time to solve The Case of the Invisible Wizard, which has our polite mannered detective whisked away to Warlock Woods, where a parade has been ruined right before it’s about to start. This notebook features mind-blowing new technology and introduces an iconic character. Frog Detective: The Entire MysteryIt is more exciting than your first adventure.

The third and final case, Corruption at Cowboy County, is Frog Detective’s biggest yet. Fans have been asking for years for this conclusion, and we’ve made it worth the wait. The third case, jam-packed full of laughs, twists and shocks is the pinnacle. Frog DetectiveIt can. You’ll start by making your way to Cowboy County, where Frog Detective has been asked to help find a sheriff for the town. On arrival, the case has already been solved, and it seems like the fun is over before it’s begun. Not to worry though, as the new Sheriff has a task for the Detective—solving the first real crime that society has ever seen. But something is amiss here… Can you figure out what’s wrong before it’s too late?

The wonderful Dan Golding scores all three cases with masterful music. The soundtrack is so magnificent that it makes me self-conscious about the rest of the game’s quality in comparison, but I’ve been assured that all three cases are a delight to play. Frog DetectiveIt can be done by you, however, we suggest inviting friends to join in the fun.

Your role as #2 investigator is to find clues, ask silly suspects, or look at the world through the magnifying glass. While some may call the magnifying glasses “useless”, others are quick to point out that they can be useful.

Case 1: The Haunted Island. A sloth that has suffered from hauntings for many weeks is being chased by a ghost no one can locate. The mystery remains unsolved, even after a team ghost-scientists was hired. Frog Detective will solve the mystery for both this sloth and this annoying ghost. This award-winning series’ first installment, The Haunted Island, is what made Frog Detective a worldwide cult favorite.

The Case of the Invisible Wizard: The second mystery follows the Detective through Warlock Woods. There, a celebration parade was held for the new neighbor. The town has fallen into ruin and is now without the neighbor. Is Frog Detective able to solve the problem? If not, the game is a disappointment.

Corruption in Cowboy County’s thrilling finale sees The Detective as well as Lobster Cop being tasked with solving the mystery of the sheriff-less community. There is a dark side to this case, and a simple solution turns out to be a trap. Maybe crime is real after all…
