Introducing Xbox Game Pass Core, Coming This September

Today, we’re continuing our commitment to give players more choice and value Xbox Game Pass Core is now available.The launch date is September 14. Game Pass Core represents the next evolution in Xbox Live Gold. The Game Pass Core gives players the ability to access our multiplayer network and a selection of 25+ games that they can play with their friends all over the world. It also offers exclusive deals for members.

For over twenty years, Xbox players have been connecting via Xbox Live to compete, cooperate, and experience the world’s biggest online multiplayer games. Xbox Game Pass, a library of curated games that was introduced in 2017, is a new service. Game Pass Core combines online gaming with Game Pass to create a unique offering for players around the globe.

With this evolution, we’re saying farewell to Games with Gold. In order to make the most of this new opportunity, we wanted to completely reimagine what content would be included with this subscription. The best way to create a compelling catalogue was by leveraging select titles in our Xbox Game Pass library.

S consoles and Xbox One. There is something to suit everyone’s tastes.|S and Xbox One consoles. Today we’re confirming the following titles for launch*, with more to be announced in advance of September 14. The addition of new titles is scheduled to occur 2-3 times each year.

Xbox Live Gold Members:

• Xbox Live Gold Members will become Game Pass Core Members on September 14th, without any change to the price, giving them immediate access to over 25 new high-quality titles.
• Member deals & discounts will also be part of Xbox Game Pass Core.
• On September 1, Games with Gold comes to an end.
• The Xbox One game they previously bought through Games with Gold will continue to be available if the player remains a Game Pass Core, or Game Pass Ultimate subscriber.
• Regardless of subscription status, any Xbox 360 titles redeemed via Games with Gold in the past will be kept in a player’s library.
