Prepare to combat the Lynels

Before you start the challenge, here is everything we’d recommend you do:

  • Upgrading your armor Health is important. If each Lynel had nine hearts, 24 armor and a total of 48 shields, he would have killed us. Two hits. Visit the Great Fairies to increase your armor to at least level 2 unless you’re confident that you will not get hit for the entirety of five Lynel fights. (Suuuure.) You can increase the number you currently have of hearts at a Goddess Statue. As many hearts as possible are needed for this fight.
  • Prepare sundelion dishes. Similar to the other enemies found in the Depths, each Lynel is afflicted with gloom, which will “lock” your hearts with each hit. You can only repair your hearts in the middle of combat by eating sunny dishes. We recommend that you stock up on as many dishes made from sundelion as possible if you anticipate being hit often.
  • Expand your inventory of weapons, shields and bows. It’s a tough challenge to beat the Lynel at the Floating Colliseum. You’ll go through numerous weapons and shields as you defeat each Lynel. Our guide to Hestu’s locations can help you increase your inventory (if you have the Korok seeds to do so).
  • Take a variety of weapons and shields. The following are some of the ways to get in touch with each other Tonnage You will lose some of your shields or weapons during the series of battles. This totaled a whopping Five gunsYou can also find out more about the following: Five shields throughout the entire gauntlet, but you could go through more or less depending on how many times you’re able to dodge.
  • Take some armor-destroying weaponry. The final Lynel has armor, which will negate any damage you deal until it’s broken. It would be heartbreaking if you survive all the way to the last Lynel, but don’t have any means of breaking their armor. You’ll need a minimum of ten hammers. Bomb flowers to destroy the Lynel’s yellow health bar.
  • Bring fairies. Fairies are extremely useful during these difficult fights because they allow you to revive after you’ve received your killing blow. You can find fairies near water on Sky Islands. But they are also found in certain locations like the Outskirt Stable Well. You will need as many Fairies as possible because the fight will last a while.
  • Make use of “bullet time.” A few ways exist to enter Bullet Time, like shield combinations and Zonai Devices. The addition of a shield wing will enable you to increase the height at which your shield surfs jump, allowing you to enter Bullet Time. With Zonai, you can use springs and hoverstones to reach higher heights. Autobuild allows you to create and then deploy a simple platform on the battlefield. Jump off the platform to enter bullet time, and aim for the Lynel’s face to stun them.
  • Be patient. This challenge may feel like a game of souls if this is the first time you’ve faced Lynels. It may be frustrating to die repeatedly, but take your time to learn each Lynel’s attacks and get used to their dodge timings. To learn more about each Lynel’s attacks, check out the sections below.
  • Buy five blades if you’re looking for an easy way out.You can teleport Lynel by fusing an ancient blade with your arrow. You won’t receive any of Lynel’s drops, but it is the fastest and easiest method to get Majora’s Mask.

Then shoot an arrow into their faceYou can stun the enemy and mount up, allowing you to land a couple of free shots. If you’re having a hard time aiming at their head, attach an eyeball to your arrow, or try to enter “bullet time.”

Once you’re in bullet time, Fuse a powerful material (such as Gibdo bones) to your arrow, and shoot it at the Lynel’s head to stun it. The chest will also unlock in addition to materials dropped by each Lynel. You can interact with the chest in order to unlock it. Majora’s Mask.

How does Majora’s Mask work in Tears of the Kingdom?

Majora’s Mask is a head armor piece with +1 defense and an effect that reduces the chance to be spotted by enemies. It does not protect you from named enemies like Hinoxes or Gleeoks. However, it can buy you time until a Lynel comes to attack you. Unfortunately, Majora’s Mask can not be upgraded at the Great Fairies, but it makes up for it by allowing you to avoid some fights altogether.
