How to get Diablo 4’s free items from KFC

Diablo 4, The second promotion is with KFC. KFC is a famous purveyor and seller of Kentucky fried chicken. Five in-game cosmetics are available — though themed to KFC’s products and brand, they’re actually not too obnoxious as tie-ins go.

What’s strange is neither KFC nor Blizzard Entertainment seemed to formally announce this availability. The information was found in an email from KFC sent to employees at the start May. A leak from 11 days earlier revealed that the weapons are skins. Behold:

These names make reference to KFC in a dry way without becoming ridiculous. “Vessel of the Eleven” refers to, of course, the 11 herbs and spices flavoring the chicken; “Dread Pheasant Slayer” seems self explanatory; the Thrumming Axle resembles a multi-pronged chicken rotisserie; and Gallus is the genus of birds that includes the domesticated chicken.

The stuff was available starting Monday, 29 May. Because it’s tied to online ordering, KFC employees in stores don’t know what the fans mean when they come into store, purchase a sandwich and then ask for the codes. The giveaways are not valid for in-store purchases.

It is as simple as:

• Get one item when you create a KFC Account, and then sync it with your Battle.net Account. Create both accounts for free.
• Use your KFC online account (or the app) to order “a qualifying product,” and you get another free item. You must order at least four of the many qualifying products to get your free item. KFC and Blizzard joined forces in March of this year to distribute open beta code for Diablo 4 Double Down Sandwiches are now available at a discounted price. They also offered fans free cleaning to ensure they could spend the weekend inside playing.

Get ready to go on a massive marketing drive; Diablo 4 Pre-ordered Digital Deluxe Editions or Ultimate Editions will begin shipping on June 1, to all those who have pre-ordered the game. The game’s full, standard launch is June 6 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
