Hi-Fi Rush from Tango Gameworks revealed at Xbox Developer Direct
Tango Gameworks is the Bethesda Softworks Studio behind The Evil Within. Ghostwire: TokyoIt revealed the next project. Hi-Fi RushThis was during the Xbox Developer Direct livestream on Wednesday. It’s a big swerve for the studio; Hi-Fi Rush is a cartoonish rhythm-based action game with a colorful visual style that looks somewhere between Sega’s Jet Set Radio and Insomniac’s Sunset Overdrive.
Tango Gameworks has released the game in a big twist. Hi-Fi RushXbox Series X & Windows PC launches Wednesday, and comes with Game Pass for Xbox or PC.
Hi-Fi RushThe protagonist Chai is the player. He has an extraordinary sense of rhythm and can be played by any players. Tango Gameworks refers to his actions and moves as a soundtrack. The more you flow with the beat, the better you can connect with your attacks and abilities — “everything syncs up like a music video,” according to the studio.
