Here Are The Nintendo Switch’s Top 10 Best Selling Games

Nintendo announced its most recent financial results. It covers the quarters of April, May, June and July of 2022. It revealed that Switch sold more than 111 million units, although overall sales remain down. 

Sales of hardware are down 22.9%. Nintendo attributes this to the continued shortage in semiconductors. Sales of software are also down, with a decline in 8.6% for the quarter. While 8.6% is an impressive drop, Nintendo still managed to move 41.41million units in the first quarter of FY23. The company also released its Top 10 Switch Games, many of which have seen an increase in sales since earlier in the year. 

These are the 10 most popular Nintendo Switch games of June 2022. 

• Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: 46.82 millions 
• Animal Crossing New Horizons39.38 Million
• Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: 28.82 millions
• The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: 27.14 Million
• Pokemon Sword/Pokemon ShieldPrice: 24,50 Million
• Super Mario Odyssey: 23.93 millions
• Super Mario Party: 18.06 millions
• Pokemon Brilliant Diamond/Pokemon Shining PearlPrice: 14.79 millions
• Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!/Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee!Price: 14.66 Million
• Ring Fit AdventurePrice: 14.54 millions

This quarter, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe saw the largest jump with 1.48 Million units. Nintendo claims that new releases for 2022 are selling well. Nintendo Switch Sports sold 4.84 million units, Mario Strikers: Battle League sold 1.91 million, and Kirby and the Forgotten Land sold 1.88 million units, making it the second-best selling Kirby game of all-time.
