Here Are The 60 Titles Included On The Sega Genesis Mini 2
Sega revealed the Sega Genesis Mini 2 in July. It was due to be released on October 27, 2022. The company had previously revealed a few titles, but we now have the complete list.
Sega claims that the Genesis Mini will now be able to play titles from the Sega CD-era, as well as new ports, previously unknown games, for the first ever time.
Here’s the lineup of bonus titles, but feel free to scroll down if you’re looking for the full list of all 60 games:
- Devi & PiiBefore he created Sonic 3, Takashi Iizuka developed this paddle-style game in 1993. Iizuka created the characters and game, but the game never saw release.
- Fantasy ZoneThis port is by the same people who made the Port of Darius for the Sega Genesis Mini.
- Space Harrier II (and Space Harrier II)Sega claims these new ports use the sprite Zoom function.
- Spatter: This is an M2 “hobby” port of a small arcade game released by Sega in 1984. Flicky, the graphic designer created this game.
- Star MobileMindware developed this puzzle game in 1992. Although it was completed in development, it never saw release.
- Super Locomotive: This is an M2 “hobby” port of a small arcade game released by Sega in 1982.
- VS Puyo Puyo Sun: Puyo Puyo Moon is now available in a modified version. This includes VS mode and new rules.
