Halo Infinite season 5 release time: When does the new season launch?

Halo Infinite Season 5, formally called “Reckoning,” comes hot on the heels of the 2023 Halo World Championship. Obviously the big addition is the parasitic Flood, who haven’t been in a Halo game in more than a decade and finally debut in Infinite, albeit as cosmetics. But there’s a ton more coming to 343 Industries’ multiplayer shooter.

What time is Halo Infinite’s season 5 released?

Halo InfiniteSeason 5 will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 17th, 2023. Developer 343 Industries hasn’t yet specified the exact start time, but Halo Infinite updates roll out at 11:00 a.m. PT each Tuesday, so it’s safe to assume the same for the start of season 5.

What’s new in Halo Infinite season 5?

The Beyond the Flood theme cosmetics (ew) Halo InfiniteThere will be a few notable gameplay adjustments in Season 5.

• The rotation has been expanded to include two new Arenas. There’s PrismThe game features crystals that look like Needler ammo. Forbidden, a forest level with lots of verticality — and bottomless pits. Anyone who trips on every round of the current map Chasm should take extra care.

• Halo Infinite’s battle passes are getting an overhaul for season 5. The seasonal battle pass will drop to 50 levels, down from 100, but retain the same number of rewards as previous seasons; you’ll simply earn more rewards per level. The events are called “events” now. . These passes will remain free just as they are for event battle passes, however, Operations lasts from 4 to 6 weeks, an increase from the current week-long events.
• Season 5 will feature two operations: Combine ArmsStarting Nov. 19, you can now enjoy a wide range of activities. Winter Contingency 3Starting Dec. 14,
• You can also find out more about the following: Bandit Rifle EVOThis is an update to the Bandit Rifle, which was introduced in this year. It’s fundamentally the same but with a small scope.
• It is time to return. ExtractionThe popular game mode was first released in Halo 4. Extraction of Halo InfiniteIt’s a little like King of the Kill. Teams compete for a neutral zone and earn points if they can successfully protect it against the other team.
• As we continue to move towards true cross-core makeup, the march continues. Beginning in Season 5, you will be able to apply Helmets with armor cores.

• Forge, Halo Infinite’s player creation mode, will let you add Next Generation AIYour designs are beautiful.
• Firefight King Of The HillIt’s a mode that will come later this season. No clue when it rolls out or what it entails (343 Industries hasn’t shared any details beyond the mode’s name) but it sure sounds like the best PvE mode combined with the best PvP mode.
• Finally, there’s a legitimately awesome reward for maxing out your career rank. The maximum rank is Hero and you’ll unlock Master Chief’s suit from the Halo InfiniteCampaign as an armor set in multiplayer
