Halo Infinite Campaign Released, Fixes And Known Issues Detailed In Day One Notes

Halo Infinite’s campaign is finally out, as are the day one release notes. 

These notes detail install sizes, which don’t exceed 49 GB and could be much smaller if you already have multiplayer installed, and how to purchase and download the campaign if you haven’t yet already. The notes also list the resolved issues. 

• Local Area Network multiplayer (LAN) is now possible. However, one problem is that the default match settings are still displayed in Mode Editor. Once a match has begun, however, all the settings that have been implemented will be in effect. 
• Players with AMD Radeon RX 500 Series GPUs will no longer experience crashes as a result of having Async Compute turned on in Video Settings.
• Players can now connect to the internet via Halo Infinite’s main screen if Halo Infinite has been launched offline. 
• The correct border is now displayed when you launch Steam in windowed mode. 

On the “known campaign issues” front, 343 Industries has listed out what it is currently aware of and working to fix: 

• You may experience a delay in playing the Halo Infinite Campaign if you order it in-game. 
• Multiplayer customization menu does not allow you to unlock MJOLNIR armoury customizations from Campaign when playing offline. 343 Industries says the team is working on a fix for this at the moment but there is a workaround for this: when using Quick Resume or after losing an internet connection, close and relaunch the game before collecting any MJOLNIR armory items. 
• Linear Navigation Accessibility feature: Equipment upgrades can’t be bought in the Upgrades menu. 
• An endless loading screen can be caused by fast traveling when you are dead. 343 Industries suggests closing Halo Infinite if this occurs and reloading any saved data. 
• 343 Industries says that “very rarely, players may be unable to progress the current mission” and that to fix this issue, players will need to restart the mission.
