Atomic Heart‘s Facility 3826 is located within the mountain ranges of Kazakhstan. These vast areas quickly became an amalgamation of scientific complexes thanks to the use of robot builders. These buildings strike a stark contrast with the small rural villages surrounding the facility, but it won’t be long before more complexes pop up.
There are many impressive monuments on Facility 3826’s grounds — from enormous statues to Stella memorials erected by robots. It is underground that robotic engineering really shines.
The facility follows one rule: “Real progress lies precisely at the confluence of the basic sciences, for that is how Nature works – it is all intertwined.”
Every complex has its own architectural style, and each interior is shaped by research needs. But they also have common technical nodes and components for personnel ease. It’s worth noting that the VDNH and Theater complexes are very different from the others. Scientists have full access, and common citizens also have it.
Many open-world locations have clear skies, bright sunlight and an occasional breeze. The Facility 3826 front is your first glimpse of the futuristic future. However, you’ll get a very different impression when you get to see the backstage of humans’ dreams in this world. You’ll quickly understand there’s trouble in paradise as you venture through cold gloomy corridors, creepy labs, and automated workshops roamed by hostile robots. You will find many parallels in the stories, level design and art. Atomic HeartYou are invited to think, reflect and use your imagination. The result will enrich your life experience as well as help you survive.
Chelomey, which is literally floating in space and a citadel for science, hosts the main events.
In the foothills is Facility 3826. This complex stretches over many kilometers, and includes numerous underground complexes.
This facility is reminiscent of a mushroom tree with each branch connected in some way to the others.
The protagonist follows the story and explores each place one-by-one, digging deeper into the lives of locals and figuring out the secrets behind facility’s secret laboratories.
Moving around the world will lead you to different areas, like research sites or small villages.
As you travel around, a territorial map guides you. You may also use robot-dead employees’ vehicles to move faster. Some people’s stories will be closer at hand: every complex or village is literally imbued with individual life stories of scientists and employees, qualitatively complementing the game’s world, setting and lore. These recordings and messages can be used to reconstruct the plots of these stories and show you what it was like before these tragic events.
If you’re a completionist (or love resources) it’s good to note that the surface must be explored as thoroughly as the underground complexes. Many scientific firing ranges are scattered around the globe, with the secret passages carefully kept under wraps.
While it’s not essential to visit such testing areas, there are rare, valuable, blueprint-like resources that can be found.
The entire facility is automated, and robots are connected to a single neural network; so, while exploring the world, don’t forget that your enemies are constantly watching you. Hope you can still relax…
