Game Boy And Game Boy Advance Games Come To Switch Today

After months of rumors, Nintendo announced that Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games are coming to the Switch online libraries. Best of all, both libraries are available today.

These games also support online and local play, but only with friends. Game Boy games can be played on standard Nintendo Switch Online. This list includes

• The New Nightmare: Alone in the Dark
• Game & Watch Gallery 3
• Gargoyle’s Quest
• Kirby’s Dream Land
• The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening DX
• Metroid II – The Return of Samus
• Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins
• Tetris
• Wario Land 3

Nintendo also teased future additions such as The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons, Kirby Tilt N Tumble, and Pokémon Trading Card Game.

The Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion pack will include the Game Boy Advance Library. This is the first set of games.

Metroid Fusion is coming soon, Kirby, The Amazing Mirror and Fire Emblem are the first games, as well F-Zero Maximum Velocity and Golden Sun.
