Forza Horizon 5 Races To The Finish Line, Gold Status Announced

Forza Horizon 5 has the most extensive and content-rich racing game of the series. This level of ambition comes with a complex development process that will present many technical and scoping challenges. Playground Games continues to be a strong company. Yesterday, Playground Games announced that Forza Horizon 5 had officially become gold. Although the game will be released next month, it already holds the lead. 

An announcement on Forza Motorsports’ website announced the celebration. The post revealed Playground Games’ extensive collaboration with Latin American artists and also a list original songs that can been heard on various radio stations.

“Forza fans, we’ve reached an important milestone on the road to Forza Horizon 5 – we’ve gone gold! This means that the game can now be pressed on retail discs, and is ready for final set-up for digital release. We are proud to share the music that you’ll hear as you cruise through Forza Horizon 5 Mexico. This moment is an expression of the amazing achievements made by everyone involved in the development.

Local Spanish language artists whose works will be premiered include Centavrvs, Clubz and Diamante Eléctrico, Bomba Estéreo and the Mexican Institute of Sound, Angelica Garcia, El Shirota, Technicolor Fabrics, Miguel Pacheco, Rodolfo Ritter and the Mexico Festival Orchestra. The rest of the music lineup features a variety of songs from all over the globe so that you can enjoy the wide open spaces and relax to the sounds of great tunes.

Playing about 90 minutes from a Forza Horizon 5, preview build, I was amazed by Mexico’s scale and detail. 

Forza Horizon 5 has a lot of content, even though it was a small portion. Although much of the map was blank in the preview, I braved it to see the distant jungles and mountains. I imagined the PR Stunts, Horizon Stories and races I would be able to participate in when the launch date arrives.

Forza Horizon 5 is available for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One on November 9th.
